Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam campaign continues at AMU

ALIGARH  : The nationwide campaign for plantation, Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam, which saw a mass welcome at the Aligarh Muslim University, continued on the university campus with various departments of studies, schools, colleges and other centres organizing plantation programmes.

At the Department of Dermatology, a plantation drive was organized with the participation of Prof. Veena Maheshwari, Dean, Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the Department of Dermatology, Prof. Waseem Rizvi, Medical Superintendent, JNMCH, Prof. Syed Amjad Ali Rizvi, Department of Surgery and Dr. Mohammad Adil, Department of Dermatology, who planted four saplings of Neem in the premises of the department.

The junior residents and office staff of the department also participated in the drive.

Dr Saba Khan, Chairperson, Department of Home Science led a plantation drive in the department where faculty members, research scholars and staff planted saplings in the department’s premises.
