AMU Professor conducts a national workshop on the Integration of Generative AI

ALIGARH:  Prof. S.M. Khan, Department of Psychology, Aligarh Muslim University conducted a two-day national workshop “Test Development and Standardization – Integration of Generative AI” organized by Hindustan Institute of Management and Computer Studies (HIMCS), Mathura.

Prof. Khan demonstrated a unified approach to conceptualization, classification, characterization and computation of Statistics for test. He highlighted the use of generative AIs to create mindmaps and construct test items, sparking significant interest and discussion among the participants.

He introduced a symbiotic approach to measurement, delved into exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis (Validity) norms, and presented an overview of AMOS using Jamivo, an open-source application. He, along with Prof Gupta, administered an online innovative scale, “Unveiling the Self and Validating the Discovery of Self (DOS),” which provided insights into the profiles of the participants highlighting their inherent strengths and weaknesses, with a reported validity ranging from 80 to 90%.
