University of East London Leads London in Creative Arts Rankings
The University of East London’s (UEL) dance program has once again been recognised as the top option for students in London, ranking number one across several metrics in the just-released National Student Survey (NSS) 2024.
The survey, widely regarded as the most accurate measure of student satisfaction, saw our courses come out on top in teaching, assessment and feedback, organisation, and management, and more.
BA Dance sits within the University’s School of Arts and Creative Industries (ACI), which also achieved stellar results overall as an academic school, ranking first in London for teaching and learning opportunities and improving on its 2023 ratings across every marker measured by the survey. Its BA Fashion Design, BA Film as well as BA Sports Journalism courses also shining particularly bright.
Dean of Arts and Creative Industries Dr Rosemary Stott, commented,
These exceptional ratings reflect our long-standing commitment to providing a practical, relevant and supportive creative learning environment, putting the students’ success at the heart of everything we do and valuing the contribution every individual brings to our vibrant community. We are incredibly proud of both our academic staff and our students for their dedication and excellence.
UEL is a proven leader in arts and creative industries education and these results demonstrate to both current – and prospective – students that studying here means they will get the skills and support to prepare them for successful entry into creative careers.
Spaces to study in some of UEL’s highly-regarded ACI courses – including BA Dance, BA Film, BA Sports Journalism, BA Music Performance and Production, BA Fashion Design and more – are available through Clearing, offering students the opportunity to join this vibrant academic community.
