University of Cape Town’s Epic Job Expo Features Close to 4,000 Job Openings

This year, the University of Cape Town (UCT) Careers Service will be hosting over 90 companies ready to recruit UCT students at their flagship recruitment event: the Epic Job Expo. Close to 4 000 opportunities will be on offer, including bursaries, internships, graduate programmes, and full-time jobs.

A common misconception is that only final-year students benefit from career expos. The Epic Job Expo is an opportunity for students at all levels of study to see what is on offer in the world of work, network with future employers or visit the all-day CV Lab.

Attendees can make the most of the experience by using the available resources to prepare for the event. Students who are still exploring career options should take note of Careers Service’s expo tips. Students who will use the Expo to hunt for a job or bursary will find the applications resource useful.

The annual expo will take place on Wednesday, 7 August, from 09:00 to 16:00 at the UCT Sports Centre. Attend the expo and stand a chance of winning an Apple iPad.
