AMU notifies academic calendar and attendance rules for 2024-25

Aligarh : With the beginning of academic session 2024-25, the Aligarh Muslim University has notified the Academic Calendar and attendance rules.

In a meeting attended by Deans of all Faculties, Proctor, Registrar, D.S.W., Principals and other University officials, chaired by Vice-Chancellor Prof. Naima Khatoon, the academic calendar and attendance rules, were approved.

During the meeting, it was unanimously decided to implement the attendance rules. Controller of Examinations, Dr. Mujibullah Zuberi informed that as per rules laid down in Ordinances (Academic) minimum 75% class room attendance is mandatory.

“All students are advised to attend classes and maintain the requisite attendance. It is mandatory as per rules,” Prof. Naima Khatoon stated during the meeting.
