Amrita University Announces Paper Submission Deadlines for International Conference on Gender and Technology 2025
NATIONAL : Amrita University is proud to announce the International Conference on Gender and Technology, scheduled to take place from January 16 to 19, 2025, at its Amritapuri campus. Co-sponsored by UNESCO and IEEE, this conference aims to explore the intersection of gender and technology, focusing on its significant implications for society.
The University invites researchers, academicians, and professionals to submit original research papers on various topics, including but not limited to gender representation in emerging technologies, climate change and gender equity, gender dynamics in the future of work, women’s health and digital innovations, gendered perspectives on cybersecurity and AI, and inclusive tech design and ethics in data science. Key submission deadlines are as follows: full paper submissions by August 30, 2024, acceptance notifications by October 15, 2024, and final submissions by November 15, 2024. The conference will also feature keynote addresses by global experts, offering pioneering ideas and the latest research findings. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage in insightful panel discussions with leading professionals from around the world and participate in interactive workshops led by industry leaders. These sessions aim to deepen understanding of critical issues at the intersection of gender and technology.
EmpowerAI Hackathon 2024: In conjunction with the conference, Amrita University will host the EmpowerAI Hackathon 2024 from December 16, 2024, to January 19, 2025. This event invites participants to develop AI solutions that empower women and underrepresented groups, with prizes totaling up to $50,000.
