Book released on Nanomedicine for Cancer treatment

ALIGARH  : The Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) Vice Chancellor, Prof Naima Khatoon released a book, titled “Personalized and Precision Nanomedicine for Cancer Treatment,” edited by Dr. Mohammd Azhar Aziz, Interdisciplinary Nanotechnology Centre, AMU, and published by Springer.

The book comprises chapters from the members of a Cancer Nanomedicine Consortium, formed on the recommendation of Dr. Mohd. Azhar Aziz (Founder Director) and Prof. Afzal Anees (Surgery), Prof. Mohammad Akram (Radiotherapy), Prof. Mohammed Jaseem (Pathology), Prof. Rashid Ali (Artificial Intelligence), Dr Hamid Ashraf (Endocrinology) and Dr. Hifzur R Siddique (Zoology) as its members.

Dr Aziz said that the consortium was formed in the year 2023 to bring the people of different expertise together for a common cause, Cancer, and they contributed to the cause in the form of grant and paper which made the book possible to be published.
