Prof. Dinesh Chandra Rai, Vice- Chancellor, BRABU Felicitated at 15th National Convention of Mahamana Malviya Mission

 

In a significant event celebrating academic excellence and social contributions, Prof. Dinesh Chandra Rai, the Vice Chancellor of Br. Ambedkar Bihar University, was honored at the 15th National Convention of the Mahamana Malviya Mission, held at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Patna. The convention brought together distinguished scholars and educators dedicated to the ideals and vision of Mahamana Madan Mohan Malviya, a prominent educationist and philanthropist. The inaugural session of the convention was graced by respected figures, including Prof. Shankar V. Tatwawadi and influential thinker and strategist Shri K. N. Govindacharya, who presented the felicitation to VC Prof. DC Rai, for his efforts in advancing the ideals and objectives of the Mahamana Malviya Mission, which aims to enhance education, promote social justice, and inspire community service.

During the felicitation ceremony, VC Prof. Rai expressed his gratitude for the recognition and emphasized the importance of education in causing affirmative  social change and development. He highlighted the role of universities in empowering students and contributing to the nation-building process. Furthermore, he called for collective efforts to enhance the quality of education and research in the region, stressing the need for innovation and collaboration among educational institutions. His remarks ratified his commitment to promoting academic excellence and advancing the mission and vision of Br Ambedkar Bihar University.

The convention featured discussions on various topics, including the role of education in nation-building, the importance of technology in modern learning environments, and the need for more inclusive and equitable educational policies. Attendees included educators, students, and policymakers, all united in their dedication to fostering an educational landscape that respects and promotes diversity.

During the convention, BRA Bihar University and IIT Patna signed a MoU, in a bid to  leverage the strengths of both institutions, enabling students and faculty to engage in interdisciplinary projects, workshops, and seminars. On the occassion VC Prof. DC Rai said, the collaboration with IIT Patna will prove to be  means to boost research initiatives, enticing students and faculty to engage in cutting-edge projects and increasing the university’s research output. Prof. Rai further said, he is happy to share that after assuming office as Vice Chancellor, in six month BRA Bihar university has signed MoUs with around twenty prestigious institutions of the country to  elevate its standing in the academic community and enhance opportunities for its students.

The academic fraternity at both Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Bihar University (BRABU) and Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has expressed great delight over the felicitation of Vice Chancellor Prof. D.C. Rai and fruitful partnership established between BRABU and IIT Patna, Prof. O.P. Roy, Prof. B.S. Rai, Prof. Rajeev Jha, Dr. Sanjay Sinha, CA KK Chaudhary, Prof. Rajeev Kumar,  Prof. Kalyan Kumar Jha,  Dr. Anamika Krishna, Dr. Amar Bahadur Shukla, Dr. Navin Kumar, and several others.
