President Droupadi Murmu inaugurates 8th India Water Week today

President Droupadi Murmu has inaugurated the 8th India Water Week at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi today. Speaking at the occasion, the President said that Amrit Sarovars were constructed and many water bodies were revived during Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. President Murmu highlighted that Indian ancient scriptures have mentioned about water conservation thousands of years ago.

During the four-day event, around four thousand delegates, including two hundred foreign delegates from 40 countries, will participate, and more than one hundred exhibitors and startups will showcase their ideas in the water sector during the exhibition.
