AMU faculty delivers a lecture on Green Hydrogen at TERI Gram
ALIGARH : Dr. Syed Javed Ahmad Rizvi, Associate Professor in the Department of Petroleum Studies, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), delivered a lecture on “Green Hydrogen: Challenges and Opportunities” during a 3-day training programme on “Sustainability Management and Alternate Fuel Technologies,” held at TERI Gram, Gual Pahari. The programme, aimed at integrating sustainability into IOCL’s core business strategies for future growth, was specifically designed for senior officials of Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL).
Dr. Rizvi explored the transformative impact of green hydrogen on the global energy market and highlighted critical issues such as cost efficiency, infrastructure development, and policy frameworks, with special focus on the far-reaching opportunities this technology offers in driving sustainability and innovation across industries.
He stated that as India’s premier public sector energy leader, IOCL is actively pursuing its ambitious target of achieving Net Zero Operational Emissions by 2046 through a host of innovative green initiatives.
