AMU Professor gets best paper presentation award at an international conference

 

ALIGARH : Prof Neha Agrawal, Chairperson, Department of Periodontia and Community Dentistry, Dr Z.A. Dental College, Aligarh Muslim University has been awarded the second place for paper presentation at the 1st International Conference of the Indian Association of Public Health Dentistry, held in Bangkok, Thailand.

Her paper, titled, “The Expanding Impact of the Hindi version of EORTC QLQ-OH15 Quality of Life Module in Oral Health Care for Cancer Patients in India: From National to Global Perspectives” explores the adaptation and application of the European Organisation for Research and Treatment of Cancer’s (EORTC) QLQ-OH15 quality of life module into Hindi, highlighting its transformative impact on oral healthcare for cancer patients in India.

Dr. Agrawal’s study also showcased the model’s potential for international application. She said that the Hindi version of the EORTC QLQ-OH15 module is a vital tool in bridging the gap in oral healthcare for cancer patients, providing them with an improved quality of life.
