The CBSE Cluster XII Athletic Meet opening ceremony happened at The Suman Nirmal Minda School, Detroj, a CSR Initiative of Uno Minda Group

Gurugram  : The Suman Nirmal Minda School (SNMS), a CSR initiative of Uno Minda, renowned for its dedication to the all-round development of students in alignment with the New Education Policy, is organizing the CBSE Cluster XII Athletic Meet. This prestigious event will take place from September 23rd to September 26th, 2024, at the SNMS campus hosting around 1,500 participants, and their coaches, from CBSE schools across Gujarat to competing in a variety of athletic events. SNMS has made comprehensive arrangements for lodging, boarding, and safety to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all participants.
The event commenced today with a grand opening ceremony on September 23rd, 2024, at 5:00 PM, that featured CBSE flag hoisting, torch lighting, a march-past, the athlete’s oath, and cultural performances. The ceremony was graced by distinguished guests, including the Director General of Police Mr. K. Laxminarayan Rao, a Member of Parliament Mr. Haribhai Patel, District Sports Officer Mr. Choudhary and a social impact leader and entrepreneur Mr. Kishanlal Agarwal.
The competition will be held across several categories, including: Under 14 Boys, Under 14 Girls, Under 17 Girls, Under 17 Boys, Under 19 Boys, and Under 19 Girls. Participants will showcase their skills in various track and field events such as the 100m, 200m, 400m, and 800m races, relay races, high jump, long jump, shot put, javelin throw, and triple jump. All participants will receive certificates from CBSE, and winners will be awarded medals and merit certificates that will support their future endeavors.
Mr. Bhagwan Das Kotwani, Principal of The Suman Nirmal Minda School, expressed his excitement, stating, “Hosting an event of such grandeur for the first time in the area presents a wonderful opportunity for the participants from Gujarat.
