Swachhta Pakhwada-related programmes continue at AMU

ALIGARH : The Urban Health Training Centre (UHTC), working under the Department of Community Medicine, J.N. Medical College, Aligarh Muslim University organized a health talk under the Swachhta Pakhwada to highlight the need for educating people to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in their homes and localities to develop a healthy society.

The health talks were delivered by Dr. Danish Kamal (JR-3), Dr. Ajitha (JR-2), Dr. Anchal Negi (JR-1) and Dr. Naureen (Intern). Dr. Danish Kamal introduced the speakers.

Dr. Ajitha demonstrating the handwashing techniques, while Dr. Anchal spoke on common problems faced by women during menstruation and Naureen demonstrated the ways to manage waste and protect the environment with the help of the posters.

Prof. Saira Mehnaz (Chairperson, Department of Community Medicine), along with Dr. Ali Jafar Abedi (Member Incharge, UHTC) and Dr. Mohd. Yasir Zubair (Senior Resident) supervised the Swachhta Pakhwada-related activities on the themes, “Clean and Green India” and “Waste to Wealth”.
