Central University of Kerala organizes Safai Mitra Suraksha Shivir 

Kasaragod: The Central University of Kerala organized Safai Mitra Suraksha Shivir as part of the Swachhata Hi Seva 2024 campaign at Periye Campus. The event was inaugurated by Hon’ble Vice Chancellor (i/c) Prof. Vincent Mathew, who emphasized the importance of cleanliness in daily life. He also recognized the contributions of the housekeeping staff in maintaining the campus environment and distributed swachhata kits, including bags and t-shirts, to the participants.

The camp featured an awareness session by K. Balakrishnan, District Coordinator of the Navakerala Mission, and a presentation on government schemes by Chacko P.A., Extension Officer for Women Welfare, Kanhangad Block. The Nodal Officer for Swachhata Hi Seva, Prof. Manu, welcomed the attendees, and Public Relations Officer K. Sujith delivered the vote of thanks.
