UrFU Professors Share Expertise Through Lectures on Hainan Island
Teachers from the UrFU Confucius Institute visited the Hainan College of Economics and Business to share their knowledge. Lectures were held on various topics: applied programming in Java language, organization of tourism activities, radio circuits and signals, graphic image processing technology, and others. Practical classes allowed students to practice and test their theoretical knowledge.
As part of the Human Resource Management course, future specialists learned about recruitment and personnel management trends. Students practiced CV writing, studied the Russian labor market for specialists with Chinese language skills, and got acquainted with the main areas of work of a human resources specialist.
The students also got an idea of the work of a modern tourism company from the point of view of business processes.
The students of the second year began to master the discipline “Solving applied problems in Java language”, where they learned to create a simple graphical interface for solving various applied problems. The training was based on case studies modeling real-life situations.
During the delegation’s stay in China, super typhoon “Yagi”, one of the strongest in the region in the last decade, hit the island of Hainan. Teachers joined other volunteers to help restore infrastructure.
