AG&P Pratham Strengthens Its Natural Gas Potential in Mysuru by Launching its First Online CNG Station in Hinkal

– CNG Station to meet the growing demand across categories -3-wheelers, 4-wheelers, and Light Commercial Vehicles (LCVs).

Mysuru : AG&P Pratham, one of the leading City Distribution companies in India today announced the inauguration of its 1st Online CNG station of Mysuru located at Hunsur Road, Hinkal. This is also the first OMC online station wherein the natural gas supply is viable through pipeline connection of 5 kms from the source. The newly commissioned online CNG station is equipped to meet the rising demands of the region for CNG usage across categories of 3-wheelers, 4-wheelers, and Light Commercial Vehicles (LCV) variants. This milestone emphasizes the company’s dedication to advancing sustainable energy practices, providing immediate public access to clean and cost-effective natural gas at a quicker and faster rate.

Speaking about this milestone, Mr Sanjit Suman, Mysuru, Mandya and Chamarajanagar (MMC) GA, Deputy Regional Head- AG&P Pratham said, “We have been very focused on expanding our natural gas distribution network across Karnataka in line with the nation’s crucial goal of green energy consumption.  The CNG services offered by AG&P Pratham cater to a wide range of vehicles including autos, cars, small commercial vehicles, trucks and buses. The new online CNG station in Hinkal, provides an eco-friendly fuel alternative for both private and public transportation, aligning with AG&P Pratham’s commitment to fostering a cleaner, more sustainable future.

Moreover, CNG vehicle owners spend less and earn more as they save fuel costs up to 45%. The engine health of the vehicle also remains efficient for longer duration, thereby gaining more mileage and overall reduction on the maintenance costs. The usage of CNG for vehicles reduces pollution as it has less emissions, lower carbon content and burns cleaner than other motor fuels, making it safer and better for the environment.” He added.

Currently, AG&P Pratham operates 12 CNG stations across Mysuru, including key locations such as Hebbal Industrial Area, Fountain Circle, Mananthavadi Road, T Narsipura Road. Over the next two years, the company plans to establish 12 additional stations in strategic areas like near Railway Station, JLB Road, Double Road, KR Nagar, further ensuring a reliable CNG supply for vehicle owners in the region.
