HINDU RESEARCH FOUNDATION “SAPTARSHI PURASKAR SHRUNKHALA” AWARDS ON OCTOBER 20, 2024 AT NAGPUR, MAHARASHTRA, INDIA

Revisiting the glorious past of Bharatvarsha, Hindu Research Foundation – a registered charitable organization propagating the ethos and culture envisaged by most magnanimous and democratic Hindu Dharma that preaches universal value, freedom of thought, tolerance and co-existence –  shall be awarding eminent Bhartiyas with “SAPTARSHI PURASKAR SHRUNKHALA AWARDS” on 20th Oct 2024 at Nagpur, Maharashtra, India. Prof. Shri Hareram Tripathi, Vice Chancellor, Kavi Kulaguru Kalidas Sanskrit University, Nagpur has consented to be the CHIEF GUEST while the event shall be presided over by Dr. Shri Bhimaraya Metri, Director, Indian Institute of Management, Nagpur.

India’s illustrious past in various fields before the invasions of Islamic, Portuguese and British hordes, is noteworthy and needs to be introduced to the world community. HRF has instituted awards inspired by our great Rishis/Seers of the golden era of Hindustan. This 2024 awards recipients are as follows:

 

o   Nagarjuna Puraskar to Bharat Ratna Dr. C N R Rao, a renowned Indian chemical scientist who is celebrated for his pioneering work in solid-state and structural chemistry, significantly advancing materials science and nanotechnology.

o   Acharya Kanad Puraskar to Padma Vibhushan Dr. Jayant Naralikar, a distinguished Indian astrophysicist, known for his contributions to cosmology and the study of the structure of universe.

o   Maharshi Walmiki Puraskar to Padma Bhushan Dr. S. L. Bhyrappa, a prominent Indian novelist and writer, celebrated for his profound contributions to Kannada literature, authored numerous acclaimed novels that explore complex social and philosophical themes.

o   Acharya Bharadwaj Puraskar to Padma Shri S. Arunan, a distinguished Indian scientist and engineer known for his contributions to space technology and satellite development. He played a crucial role in India’s space missions, particularly in the Mangalyaan and Orbiter Mission

o   Acharya Sushrut Puraskar to Padma Shri Dr. Himmatrao S. Bawaskar, a renowned Indian physician and medical researcher, celebrated for his pioneering work in snakebite treatment and tropical medicine.

o   Vishwakarma Puraskar to Shri C. B. Sompura, a renowned 15th generation family of Indian architect, celebrated for his significant contributions to both traditional and contemporary Indian architecture as also the preservation of heritage sites.

o   Aryabhatta Puraskar to Shri Mohit Joshi, known for his notable contributions to the field of astronomy, particularly in the development of advanced telescopes designed to observe distant galaxies.
