AMU student participates in an International Conference
ALIGARH : Aiman Khan, a postgraduate student in the Department of English, Aligarh Muslim University, presented a research paper online at the 3rd International Anthrozoology Conference, organized by the University of Debrecen, Hungary.
Ms Khan presented a paper, titled “Songbirds and the Synonymous Language of Loss,” examining the portrayal of environmental degradation through various literary and linguistic traditions.
She critically analyzed the selected works from three linguistic traditions—Urdu, Hindi and Malayalam and focused on the writings of Malikzaada Manzoor Ahmad, Mahadevi Verma and Edasseri Govindan Nair.
