AMU faculty present papers at UP PATHCON

ALIGARH  : The faculty members of the Department of Pathology, J.N. Medical College, Aligarh Muslim University presented papers at the XXXI Annual Conference of UP Chapter of Indian Association of Pathologists and Microbiologists (IAPM), UP PATHCON 2024, organised by the Subharti Medical College, Meerut.

Prof. Nishat Afroz, Department of Pathology presented a paper, “Potpourri of interesting cases”, focusing the salivary gland lesions., while under the category, “Interesting cases by young faculty”, Dr. Bushra Siddiqui presented a case of “Myxo-inflammatory fibroblastic sarcoma”.

Dr. Varsha Prajapati, a third year Resident, won the first prize in oral paper presentation while Dr. Neeharika Das, a first year Resident, won the consolation prize in poster presentation.

Prof. Mohd. Jaseem Hassan chaired a session at the conference while Dr. Ruquiya Afrose and Dr. Suhailur Rehman judged oral papers and posters at the conference.
