e-Poster competition held to mark the Wold Suicide Prevention Day

ALIGARH : Dr Anjali of University College of Medical Sciences (UCMS), New Delhi won the first prize in an e-poster competition, organized by the Department of Psychiatry, J.N. Medical College (JNMC), Aligarh Muslim University, to mark the World Suicide Prevention Day.

Dr Sabahat Tazeen Post Graduate student in the Department of Anaesthesiology and critical care at Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College and Hospital (JNMCH), AMU and Ms Anushka Agarwal from Government Medical College Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Telangana jointly got the second prize, while Mr Takochar, Smt. Nathiba Hargovandas Lakhmichand Municipal Medical College, Ahmedabad won the third prize.

Dr Mohd Reyazuddin, Chairman, Department of Psychiatry said that several entries were received from all over India and the winning posters were selected by a three-member judges’ panel constituting of a psychiatrist, a clinical psychologist and a psychiatric social worker.
