GlobalLogic strengthens India presence with new Hyderabad delivery centre; bets big on city’s GCC leadership

 

Hyderabad : GlobalLogic, a Hitachi Group company and a leader in digital engineering, today announced the launch of a new delivery centre in Hyderabad. As part of the company’s growth & expansion strategy in APAC, this centre marks the 4th centre launch in the last 9 months. This expansion is set to enhance the company’s core engineering capabilities and deliver advanced digital engineering solutions across sectors, including technology, healthcare, automotive, banking, professional services and more, while maintaining a continued focus on the content engineering business.

The inauguration ceremony of the swanky new office was graced by Shri Duddilla Sridhar Babu, Hon’ble Minister for Information Technology, Electronics & Communication, Industry & Commerce, and Legislative Affairs, Government of Telangana, currently serving as the Minister for Information Technology, Electronics & Communications, Industries & Commerce and Legislative Affairs in the state of Telangana. He showcased the government’s commitment in supporting GlobalLogic’s efforts to promote innovation and grow its operations in Hyderabad, while emphasizing the significance of collaboration between the government and the tech sector in driving growth and innovation.

GlobalLogic’s establishment of this centre in Hyderabad, beginning with 600 engineers and aiming to expand to over 2,000, in three years, highlights the trust global enterprises place in Telangana’s vibrant ecosystem and robust support for innovation.

This new facility will drive job creation and cultivate cutting-edge talent, reinforcing our state’s leadership in high-impact sectors. It will solidify Telangana’s position at the forefront of global growth and innovation, paving the way for a future where our state leads the next generation of digital advancements.”

With this expansion, GlobalLogic aims to significantly ramp up its workforce in Hyderabad. The company plans to tap into the city’s vast engineering talent pool, focusing on new hires to support its growing operations. Additionally, following GlobalLogic’s recent acquisition of Mobiveil, a significant number of Mobiveil employees will also be stationed at this 38,000 sqft large centre.
