Two-day national conference on industrial chemistry to begin on November 23

 

ALIGARH : The Department of Industrial Chemistry, Aligarh Muslim University is organizing a two-day national conference on “Innovative Approaches in Industrial Chemistry for Eco-friendly Solutions” (IIES-24) on November 23-24, 2024.

Dr Shahab Ali Asghar Nami, Chairman of the department informed that the inaugural session of the conference will be held on November 23 at 10 am at the UGC Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Centre.

He said Dr S. Venkata Mohan (Bhatnagar awardee), Department of Energy and Environmental Engineering, CSIR-IICT, Hyderabad will be the chief guest while AMU Vice Chancellor Prof Naima Khatoon is the Chief Patron of the programme.

He stated that the conference will focus on ‘Innovative approaches for eco-friendly Solutions’ and serve to bring eminent researchers from academia and industry from all around the world on a single platform for critical deliberations and discussion on the challenges and new opportunities towards sustainable development and eco-friendly solutions.
