AMU faculty presents paper in Bahrain
ALIGARH : Dr. Furqan Khan, Centre for Distance and Online Education, Aligarh Muslim University, presented a paper on “Enhancing bilateral trade between India and Bahrain: The Future Prospects,” at the international conference on Business and Technology organized in collaboration with the Springer and Scopus at the University of Oxford, UK.
In his research paper, Dr. Khan stated that Bahrain’s strategic location in Gulf provides a gateway for Indian business to access other markets in the Middle East. He said that the positive long-term term bilateral trade volume indicates that there is significant potential for enhancing the trade further in other sectors such as Finance and technology, healthcare, renewable energy and logistics promising investment opportunities.
His research paper, co-authored by an AMU alumnus, Dr. Mohd Taqi, Assistant Professor, School of Business, Bahrain Polytechnic, has been shortlisted for the publication in February 2025 by Springer.
Prof. Mohd Nafees Ahmad Ansari, Director, Center for Distance and Online Education congratulated Dr Khan on the achievement.
