Himachal Pradesh CM felicitate media persons on World Press Freedom Day

Shimla: Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur has felicitated the media persons on the occasion of World Press Freedom Day.

In his felicitation message to the journalist fraternity, Chief Minister said that the day acts as a reminder to each one of us to respect media and also reaffirm our commitment towards freedom of press. It is also a day of reflection among media professionals on issues of press freedom and professional ethics with an opportunity to celebrate the fundamental principles of press freedom, he added.

Chief Minister also thanked the media for their responsible reporting during the COVID -19 pandemic.
