Aligarh Muslim University VC mourns Justice Tripathi’s demise

Aligarh: Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) Vice Chancellor, Professor Tariq Mansoor has expressed profound grief on the sad demise of an eminent jurist Lokpal member, Justice A K Tripathi, who died while undergoing treatment for Coronavirus at the AIIMS Trauma Centre in New Delhi.

Offering heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family of deceased, Prof Mansoor said that his thoughts and prayers are with Justice Tripathi’s family in this difficult time.

“I had the pleasure of knowing Justice Tripathi and someone special like him can never be forgotten. May his soul rest in peace,” said Prof Mansoor.

He added that the deceased will not only be remembered as a distinguished Chief Justice of the Chattisgarh High Court, judge at the Patna High Court and judicial member of the Lokpal; but also as an exemplary human being known for his amenable nature and supreme ideals.

Justice Tripathi is survived by a daughter, who recently recovered from Covid-19.
