Digite Infotech Donates To The Govt. Of India’s COVID-19 Relief Efforts
New Delhi: Digite Infotech Pvt. Ltd. announced that all of it’s employees have donated 1-day of their salaries and the company has contributed an equivalent amount to the Government of India’s PM-CARES Fund to support the government’s efforts to deal with the impact of the COVID-19 crisis. Apart from this, the company has also made donations to Maharashtra and Karnataka state, for helping the daily wage workers and those working relentlessly in the Emergency Services.
Making the announcement, Digite’s CEO, Mr. AV Sridhar said “The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted nations, governments, organizations and the ordinary people in an unprecedented manner. The impact on front-line first responders including healthcare professionals, police and other authorities as well as essential service providers is significant and serious. We are doing our bit to help the Indian government deal with the crisis in an effective manner.”
