Best facilities will be given to frontline doctors and health workers: Deputy Commissioner

Sangrur: Deputy Commissioner Sangrur Mr. Ghanshyam Thori, on Saturday, said that all frontline workers which include doctors, nurses and paramedical staff will be given best facilities including air-conditioned rooms. He added that applauding their commendable efforts, district administration has decided to provide special health facilities if any of these frontline workers gets infected while discharging their duties.

Deputy commissioner said that doctors and other frontline workers are trying their best to contain Covid-19 and he assured them that if any frontline worker gets infected while discharging his/her duties in government hospital and any other place, district administration will provide him/her best possible facilities. Furnishing further details, Mr. Thori said that these facilities would include air conditioning room, television with paid dish connection, free wifi and nutritional fruits on daily basis. “One will get access to projector room where he/she can watch television on projector screen. All additional expenses in treatment will be beared by Pehal society ,” he added.
