District Admn Reasi provides medical help to migrant lady

Reasi: District administration has provided medical help to a migrant lady stranded in the district due to lockdown. Draupadi, 24, wife of Gulu, while waiting for her special evacuation train, at Railway Station Katra developed labour pain in the waiting room of the station.
While the family was waiting for the special train arranged for repatriation of stranded labourers, the woman developed labour pain. The matter was immediately reported at the Health Desk set by the district administration and the patient was immediately shifted to CHC Katra where she delivered a full term normal female baby in the afternoon. Both, the mother and the child were pronounced healthy by the Block Medical Officer.
The family hailing from Gram Patra, Madhya Pradesh were later dispatched back home after necessary medical procedures.
