Sikkim Government expresses gratitude to Madhya Pradesh Government
Bhopal : The Chief Minister of Sikkim, Shri Premsingh Tamang (Gole) has written a letter to the Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan, expressing gratitude to the Government of Madhya Pradesh and the officials of the state, who voluntarily rendered help in Madhya Pradesh to a family of Sikkim, which were on their way to Sikkim from Vadodara.
In his letter the Chief Minister of Sikkim Shri Tamang has written that Smt. Chandrasubba and Sushri Vishnu Mayasubbak were traveling from Vadodara, Gujarat to their hometown in Sikkim. On the way, when Smt. Chandrasubba’s health deteriorated, she was admitted to the district hospital by the officers of Katni district of Madhya Pradesh. Collector Shri Bharat Yadav sent the ADM to arrange for her treatment. She was being taken to Jabalpur Medical College as her health was deteriorating fast but unfortunately she passed away on the way. The SDM of Jabalpur Shri Ashish Pandey and his colleagues not only made all the arrangements for her funeral like a family members but also made complete arrangements for the accommodation of Sushri Vishnu Mayasubba in Jabalpur and to send her back to Sikkim.
