Madhya Pradesh is one step ahead in decline in Corona infection
Bhopal : Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that with continuous decline in number of Corona cases, Madhya Pradesh has now reached the 7th position in the country. First Madhya Pradesh was ranked 6th in the country and Uttar Pradesh was 7th. About 2 percent of newly infected patients were found in Madhya Pradesh, whereas earlier it was up to 8 percent as compared to the whole country. There are 174 new positive cases of Corona in the state, while the number is 9304 in the country. Our corona recovery rate is 64.3 percent, while that of India is 47.9 percent.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan was reviewing the situation and arrangements of Corona in the state through video conferencing at Mantralaya today. Health Minister Shri Narottam Mishra, Chief Secretary Shri Iqbal Singh Bains, DGP Shri Vivek Johri, Additional Chief Secretary Health Shri Mohammad Suleman and Principal Secretary Shri Sanjay Shukla were present on the occasion.
194 out of 255 patients discharged
During the review of Burhanpur district, it was told that out of total 255 Corona cases in the district, 194 patients have recovered and gone home, the number of active patients is 45 now. The Collector said that the situation of Corona in the district is constantly improving. Chief Minister Chouhan lauded the Collector, S.P. and team for this.
Sarthak app must be used
During the review of Sheopur district, Chief Minister Shri Chouhan directed that special attention should be paid to contact tracing. ACS Health stated that Sarthak app is highly useful for contact tracing and should be used.
CM expresses displeasure over difference in data
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan expressed displeasure over the difference in data during the review of Betul district. He instructed ACS Health to immediately send a team to Betul to check the arrangements. Out of 34 patients infected in Betul district, 5 have recovered and gone home, 29 patients are active.
Dean of Medical College should be removed
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan directed that the Dean of Sagar Medical College should be removed immediately. ACS Health Shri Suleman said that the team of medical experts visited Sagar and took stock of the situation. The Dean’s work was not found satisfactory.
Conduct detailed probe into patient’s death
During the death analysis of a patient from Corona in Khandwa district, Chief Minister Shri Chouhan instructed that a detailed investigation should be conducted into his death. The said patient was discharged on his insistence, despite having symptoms.
Procurement to be started after rain stops
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that wheat procurement work has been stopped in the areas where it is raining. But farmers should not worry, once the rain stops, the procurement will start again and the wheat of the remaining farmers will be procured.
