GDC Nowshera organizes Poster making competition

Nowshera: Department of Botany, GDC Nowshera organized an Intra-collegiate poster making contest to celebrate the 6th International Yoga Day.
The theme of the competition was “YOGA ASANAS TO BOOST IMMUNITY”. The event was organized by . Pooja Devi, Assistant Prof Botany under the supervision and guidance of Dr. Surinder Kumar, Principal of the college.
As many as 24 students from all the semesters participated in the competition, expressing their drawing skills and knowledge of various Yoga Asanas, helpful in boosting the immunity. Indu (B.Sc.-II) stood First, while the Second position was shared by Kajal Sudan (B. Sc.-IV) and Simranjeet Kour (B.A.-VI).
The third position was also shared by 3 students; Esha Sharma (B.Sc.-II), Ramneek Kour (B.A.-IV) and Sonia Choudhary (B. Sc.-IV). The winners were awarded “Certificates of Excellence”.
