Aligarh Muslim University faculty speaks on ‘Impact of Online Education’

Aligarh: Prof M Shakeel Ahmed Samdani, Dean, Faculty of Law, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) delineated inclusive e-learning solutions and multi-pronged strategy necessary to build a resilient education system amid the Covid 19 pandemic during an international webinar on ‘Impact of Online Education’ organised by Arya Mahila Degree College, Shahjahanpur, UP.

Discussing the advantages and disadvantages of online education, Prof Samdani pointed out that it is imperative to reconsider the current delivery and pedagogical methods in school and higher education by seamlessly integrating classroom learning with e-learning modes to build a unified learning system.

“Since the global health crisis has affected 1.2 billion students all over the world; governments, universities, colleges and schools are trying their best to provide online education for the capacity-building of young minds and for increasing their employability and productivity,” he emphasised.

He also suggested various solutions for making online education accessible to all students in India.
