3 new centres to be opened for Protection of Special Backward Tribes
Bhopal : Three new centres for the Protection of Special Backward Tribal Culture will be opened in Dindori, Sheopur and Chhindwada. Government of India has approved Rs 26 crore 95 lakh for this. This information was given at a meeting of office-bearers of corporations, authorities and agencies constituted under Department of Tribal Affairs and Scheduled Caste Development.
Database of state to be prepared
Shri Arya said that both the departments should prepare database of the entire state in two months. He warned to take action against the officials who come without preparation in the next meeting. Shri Arya said that a compulsory meeting of Corporation, Authority and Agency should be held every three months besides the working arrangement of the office-bearers of the Corporation, Authority and Agency should be ensured.
12 thousand cases approved in 1.5 years
It was told that in the last one and a half years, 12 thousand cases have been approved in Mukhya Mantri Swarozgar Yojana, Mukhya Mantri Arthik Kalyan Yojana and Mukhya Mantri Yuva Udyami Yojana under Tribal Finance and Development Corporation. Two benches are held every month at State Tribal Commission level. This financial year 71 cases have been redressed.
Public awareness camps for TB control
Minister of State Shri Arya instructed to organize public awareness camps for control of tuberculosis among people of Saharia tribe. He said that the awareness should be spread among the affected persons through prominent persons of society in Shivpuri, Sheopur, Ashoknagar and Guna district. Public representatives should also be invited to the camp. Shri Arya said a combined meeting has been organized so that the government policy reaches the lowest strata of society. He said that the responsibility of benefitting nearly 37 percent population lies with both the departments and related Commission, Authority, Corporation and Agency. He said work should be undertaken in this direction at a fast pace.
Among those present on the occasion include Scheduled Caste Commission Chairman Shri Bhupendra Arya, Tribal Finance Development Corporation Chairman Shri Shivraj Shah, Coal Authority Chairman Sushri Urmila Bharti, Tribal Finance Development Corporation Vice-Chairman Shri Bhujbal Singh Ahirwar, Coal Development Corporation Chairman Shri Brijlal Kol, Baiga Development Authority Chairman Shri Ramlal Baiga, Principal Secretary Scheduled Caste Development Shri AShish Upadhyay, Principal Secretary Tribal Affairs Shri S.N. Mishra, Commissioner Smt. Dipali Rastogi and members of Corporations, Authorities and Agencies.
Meeting in December to be chaired by CM
Minister of State Shri Arya took a separate meeting of the Madhya Pradesh State Cooperative Scheduled Caste Finance and Development Corporation funded-schemes. He said all officers should meet the target within the stipulated time before the Young Entrepreneurs Meeting to be held in December. In this about 450 beneficiaries will have a direct dialogue with the Chief Minister. He said that officers who do good work will be rewarded. Those found guilty of negligence with be punished.
Target of Savitri Bai Phule Self-help Group
Shri Arya said that provision of benefits of the schemes within the set time limit by adopting a transparent process in selection of beneficiaries should be ensured. He said that senior officials should be informed if any problem arises in the scheme. Shri Arya instructed to complete the target of Savitri Bai Phule Self-help Group Yojana in 15 days. He said that all officers should invite local public representatives at the time of distribution of loan certificates to the beneficiaries.
Anger over officials absent during meeting
Expressing his anger over officers absent in the meeting without prior information, Shri Arya said this should not happen in the next meeting. Prior information about the absence should be given to the headquarters. He said that on sending cases to the bank under the schemes, information should be uploaded on the online portal also. He instructed that margin money should be made available to the districts at the appropriate time.
Special efforts should be made for skill enhancement
MoS Shri Arya said that the Mukhya Mantri Skill Enhancement Training Scheme is the Chief Minister’s important scheme. Maximum efforts should be made to connect youths with self-employment by providing skill enhancement. Review of the scheme will be done every month. Officials will have to do better work. He said that review meetings will be conducted from time to time.
Minister of State Shri Arya said that the benefits of the scheme should not be restricted to a select few. For this all schemes should be publicized through print media and social media. After loan approval, physical verification of the established unit should be done from time to time. Recovery should be made on time. Shri Arya conducted district wise review of various Corporation funded schemes. He said that al schemes will be monitored regularly.
Vice Chairman Shri Bhujbal Singh Ahirwar, Managing Director Shri Ashish Upadhyaya and officers of all the districts were present at the meeting.
