“SAIT AlgoSquad holds international webinar on Cloud Computing with Microsoft”
Indore: Sri Aurobindo Institute of Technology (SAIT)’s computer science club ‘AlgoSquad’ hosted an international webinar on ‘Introduction to Cloud Computing with Azure’. The event was hosted in partnership with Microsoft Student Partners (MSP) and the Indore chapters of Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) and the Computer Society of India (CSI).
The event was aimed towards engineering students to help them grasp the basics of cloud computing via Azure – a cloud platform by Microsoft. Cloud forms the backbone of our today’s internet, the global cloud services market was valued at $264.8 billion in 2019, and is projected to reach $927.51 billion by 2027, growing at a CAGR of 16.4% from 2020 to 2027.
The event’s presenter was Victoria Andrade, a senior Microsoft Student Partner, and the vice-president of Florida Poly University’s renowned programming club. It was hosted by Vivek Tiwari, chairman of DGWCloud, Ayush Take and Sudhanshu Jain – the co-leaders of AlgoSquad. The welcome note was delivered by renowned international scholar, Chairman of Indore Chapters of ACM & CSI – Dr. Durgesh Mishra – who’s also the director of SAIT.
Attended by students from all around the world, the event was a grand success. Attendees were also awarded with official Microsoft Student Partners and AlgoSquad certificates. The presenter also held interactive quizzes and perks that were enjoyed by all attendees.
