District Admn, Shopian organises training programme

Shopian: A training programme was organized by the district administration Shopian, here, at Mini Secretariat, today, in which Ulmas, Numberdars and Volunteers of the district participated.
On the occasion, Nodal officer COVD-19 Shopian, emphasized upon the Ulmas, Numberdars and volunteers to adhere strictly to the guidelines issued by the Government for controlling the spread of pandemic in the district.
Seeking people’s co-operation in checking this fatal disease, the Nodal Officer asked the Ulmas to make announcements in their respective masjids requesting people to wear masks, maintain social distancing, wash hands frequently with soap and not to go outside of their homes unnecessarily.
He appealed to the Ulmas to adopt SOPs and take preventive and precautionary measures while praying in their respective masjids. He also asked Namberdars and Volunteers to intimate the Government immediately if anybody is found with symptoms of Covid-19 virus from their locality so that necessary medical aid is provided to affected persons quickly before deteriorating their health conditions.
