NYK Jammu organises plantation drive cum Covid-19 awareness program at Block Arnia

Jammu: A plantation drive cum COVID-19 awareness program was today organised by Nehru Yuva Kendra Jammu (Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India) here at block Arnia.
Over 150 saplings of different varieties including seasonal fruits and medicinal Plants were planted by National Youth Volunteers and Youth Club Members of the Block.
DYC ,Nehru Yuva Kendra Jammu, Nisar Ahmed Butt; Councillor Ward No.6, Arnia, Jang Bahadur; Teacher, Rakesh Dandia; Panch, Vinay Bhagat; President, Help Who Deserve Youth Club, Arjun Kumar ; Secretary, Help Who Deserve Youth Club, Rajkumar and locals were also present on this occasion.
The NYV representatives briefed the participants about importance of maintaining social distancing, hand wash, use of sanitizer and wearing face mask to prevent spread of COVID-19 Pandemic.
The guests and locals of Block Arnia thanked Nehru Yuva Kendra Jammu and Nisar Ahmed Butt (District Youth Coordinator Jammu) for taking the good initiative.
