Webinar at Women’s Polytechnic, AMU

Aligarh: The Alumni Affairs Committee of the Women’s Polytechnic, AMU, organised a webinar of alumnae of the Women’s Polytechnic recently. Ms Halima Sadia, Assistant Professor (Integral University, Lucknow), presented a talk on ‘Emerging Trends in Computing Technology, Engineering and Research’.

Around eight four alumni of University Women’s Polytechnic, participated in it.

She discussed about the top eight technologies and research trends that are being followed in the year 2020 and includes artificial intelligence, machine learning, cloud computing, internet of things (IOT) etc.

She exhorted the students to pursue a career in Robotic Process Automation, Virtual Reality, Cyber security field that offers huge potential for Electronics, Computer and IT students.

Dr Salma Shaheen (Principal, University Women’s Polytechnic) welcomed the participants and said more such webinars will be organised to ensure that the young minds of the Women?s Polytechnic get ample opportunity to exchange their thoughts and experiences of their alumni during these pandemic testing times.

Dr Sheeba Kamal (Member Alumni Affair Committee), in her welcome address introduced the Speaker.
