Prof Faisal Devji to deliver Web Talk

Aligarh: University of Oxford, UK faculty member and esteemed historian, Professor Faisal Devji will deliver a lecture on ‘Gandhi’s Silence’ on August 6. According to Professor Abdus Salam (Convenor of the International Web Talk series), the lecture is a part of the ongoing Web Talk Series organised by Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) on ‘Gandhian Thought and Philosophy’ to mark the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.

Prof Devji’s multidisciplinary work grounds empirical historical issues in philosophical questions. He has also taught at The New School in New York City and at the Yale University.

AMU Vice Chancellor, Professor Tariq Mansoor will give the inaugural address.
