Dr Raihan Akhtar appointed as the Vice President, Director of Editorial, Al-Tilmeez

Aligarh: Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) Assistant Professor, Dr Raihan Akhtar (Department of Sunni Theology) has been appointed as the Vice President, Director of Editorial of Al-Tilmeez, a monthly international journal in Arabic language. The journal is published by Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir based Nadavic Cultural Center.

Dr Manzoor Ahmad Gattu (Director, Nadavic Cultural Center) and Dr Imtiyaz Ahmad (Convener, Nadavic Cultural Center) have said that during his tenure with Al-Tilmeez, Dr Akhtar has been active and competitive in executing the assigned tasks. They added that Dr Akhtar is professionally sound, hard working and motivated in his work.

Dr Akhtar regularly writes columns for national and international newspapers on varied social issues. He is the author of ‘Concept of War and Peace in Islam and Christianity’. He also has numerous research papers to his credit, published in journals of national and international repute.
