Bodhtree Consulting bags Rs. 100+ crore order from MCI
Hyderabad: Bodhtree Consulting Limited, a leading IT consulting and software services provider, has bagged its second contract from the Medical Council of India.
The current award is valued at over Rs. 100+ crores inclusive of taxes and is part of Digital Mission Mode Project II, under which 550 medical colleges in the country are covered.
MCI has initiated the process of implementing a comprehensive Medical Council of India – Closed Circuit Television (MCI-CCTV) solution with an objective to monitor availability of faculty and student for the classes as per schedule, ensuring that the assigned faculty is taking the classes, monitoring effectiveness of teaching tools used by faculties while conducting the classes, both theory and lab sessions, making use of video evidences in dispute/grievance resolutions, video analytics as a tool in future for performance improvement of the colleges, live access to any class room across the country at any given point of time, which will ensure visibility over colleges thereby improving the quality of medical education in the country.
The scope of the project includes supplying and implementing IP surveillance solution to monitor defined areas at centralized location, setting-up centralized infrastructure, command and control center and data center, operation and maintenance of the solution for three years, provisioning of training to the users identified by MCI and establishing centralized IT helpdesk and video operations.
Bodhtree had earlier bagged a Rs. 50 crore project from MCI in August, 2016, to design, procure, develop, supply, implement, operate and maintain its DMMP solution for e-governance purpose. Under that project the company had created a system, which will enable monitoring of attendance of faculty members in about 439 medical colleges through biometric system. Besides the above, it had also enabled online submission of applications for opening of new medical colleges or seat enhancement along with creating a national database of faculty in medical colleges which will be linked with their Aadhar Card.
