Implementation of welfare, dev schemes reviewed in Udhampur

Udhampur: Implementation of social security and development schemes in the district was today reviewed by District Development Commissioner, Dr. Piyush Singla here at one to one meeting with concerned District officers.
The sector wise progress of all schemes being implemented in the district was reviewed including number of beneficiaries under a scheme, progress of Aadhaar seeding, pension disbursement, scholarship eligibility and scholarship disbursement, golden cards generated and issued, Patient treated, Ration distribution details, eligibility criteria ,Aadhaar linkage, PM-Kissan, KCCs issued, loan sanctioned /disbursed and people benefitted by PMAY(Grameen),PMAY(Urban).
The development works completed and persondays generated under MGNREGA,14th FC,besides SBM pendency under different schemes and strategy for covering all eligible beneficiaries were also discussed in detail.
District heads of various departments apprised the DDC about the status of different schemes taken up and their status as on date.
The DDC stressed on timely achievement of physical as well as financial targets set under different schemes. He directed the concerned departments to mobilize staff for effective implementation of all schemes and coverage of 100% eligible beneficiaries under all schemes.
The DDC emphasized on universal Aadhar generation and adhaar seeding in the district. He said that it is important to link the bank accounts of the beneficiaries of various schemes with their Aadhaar number for the effective and transparent implementation of the schemes. The Banks were asked to approach beneficiaries to seed their adhaar and get their accounts activated for timely disbursement of benefits. Cluster Head JK bank and Lead bank manager were asked to ensure that adhaar number of all the beneficiaries are generated and seeded in their respective accounts.
The DDC also directed the Social Welfare department, ICDS, Education and FCS&CA Departments to gear up the process of Aadhar Seeding and create mass awareness about the same.
The DDC directed all the officers to work in coordination for better results at the grass root level. The DDC further directed the officers to stay in touch with the people, pay regular visits and organize camps in all the remote and far-flung areas so that the people can avail maximum benefits of these schemes.
While reviewing Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY), Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA), 14th FC, SBM-G, Physical status report under 14th FC, construction of panchayat garhs, the DDC asked ACD to ensure all the works taken up are completed within time frame.
