Jan Abhiyan: Mega Income Certificate distribution mela organized across Baramulla

Baramulla: As part of recently launched Jan Abhiyan, mega income certificate distribution mela was today organized across Baramulla district during which hundreds of income certificates were distributed among the beneficiaries at their door-steps.
In this connection, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Baramulla, Dr G N Itoo paid visit to several tehsils where he distributed these certificates.
The DC on the occasion highlighted the significance of the Abhiyan and said that the campaign aims to deliver public services in an efficient and hassle free manner.
He said that income certificates are especially being issued among the students in a speedy manner so that they can avail benefits from different scholarship schemes.
Dr Itoo said that cent percent saturation will be achieved in individual beneficiary schemes adding that special focus shall be given to the effective implementation of welfare and developmental schemes in the upcoming Back to Village- 3.
Earlier, the DC met several deputations and individuals who apprised him about their issues and grievances after giving a patient hearing he passed directions to the concerned authorities for their timely redressal.
