World Tourism Day celebrated at Amity University Jaipur

Gaekilan, Hospitality Industry Expert, Malasiya at Amity University, Jaipur. He added that the miracles of the virtual tour show cased by the students of Amity School of Hospitality portrayed the significance of cultural heritage, that was incredible.
Prof. (Dr) Amit Jain Pro-Vice Chancellor, Amity University, Jaipur asserted that, this year the observance of World Tourism day is virtual and today as we are all temporarily grounded, the wonders of internet have proffered us virtual tours direct on our screen. Prof Jain said Tourism has more than a satisfaction with leisure life, it has a social, cultural, political, and economic significance. Tourism plays an important role in comprehending the culture, tradition, and life style of each place.
The event painted various colours of Indian tourism with tourism logo of Assam, Gujarat, Bengal, Arunachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Manipur, Mizoram, Jammu & Kashmir, Uttarakhand to underline the culture of each state.
Addressing an event Prof. (Dr.) Sanjeeb Pal, Director, Amity School of Hospitality said that as technological innovations have improved virtual reality capabilities and popularized the medium. With a rich heritage and myriad attractions, India’s travel and tourism industry has tremendous career opportunities.
During the event Saumya Kapil, Student of Master of Tourism & Travel Management, Amity University described the cultural importance of that state with a flag design through a video. The celebration of the day folded with a travel story contest.
