Jaisinagar gifted with Government College and Nagar Panchayat
Bhopal : Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that the grand journey of development of Surkhi, Jaisinagar, Sagar and Bundelkhand has begun. There will be no shortcoming in the development of Surkhi assembly constituency. He said that he will not let paucity of funds comes in the work of farmers and poor people. The Chief Minister said that after the survey, relief amount will be given to farmers, who have suffered crop loss. Farmers should not worry for this. Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan was addressing a bhoomi pujan and dedication programme of development works worth Rs 631 crore in Jaisinagar of Surkhi Assembly constituency of Sagar district today. MP Shri Jyotiraditya Scindia presided over the programme.
Public Works Minister Shri Gopal Bhargava, Revenue and Transport Minister Shri Govind Singh Rajput, Urban Development Minister Shri Bhupendra Singh Thakur, MLA Shri Shailendra Jain, Shri Mahesh Rai, Shri Pradeep Laria and Shri Mohan Patel were present on the occasion.
Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that now no poor will live in kuchha houses. He said that the poor will be provided with wheat and rice at the rate of one rupee per kg and the collector was instructed to add the names of those eligible persons who have been left out. He also announced the opening of a Government College, approval to the construction of Janpad Panchayat building in Jaisinagar and Nagar Panchayat status to Jaisinagar. He said that the wheel of development has started running from Jaisinagar of Surkhi assembly and this wheel will continue to run till Surkhi assembly is fully developed. On this occasion, Chief Minister Shri Chouhan distributed benefits to beneficiaries of various public welfare schemes.
Rajya Sabha MP Shri Jyotiraditya Scindia said that the wheel of development will now move at a fast pace in Jaisinagar region. Congratulating the Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan he said that, there has been record wheat procurement in the state under his leadership. Nearly one crore 29 lakh metric tonnes of wheat was procured in the state. The state of Madhya Pradesh has surpassed Punjab and secured the first rank in the whole country. A provision has been made to provide the first right to the youth of the state in government jobs.
Transport Minister Shri Rajput said that the people of Jaisinagar block was facing severe water crisis so much so that apart from summer season, people had to purchase water in the rainy season also. He told that he has done sufficient work in five months which he had never done before. With the approval of the Rs 11 crore tap-water scheme, this crisis will end.
Shri Rajput said that the bhoomi pujan and dedication programme held in Jaisinagar today are historic, but with this, start of the government college and construction of office building of Janpad Panchayat in Jaisinagar will add to the glory of development of the region. Shri Rajput said that the state government stands constantly with the farmers and the poor. Samman Nidhi will be transferred to the accounts of farmers under the Mukhya Mantri Kisan Kalyan Yojana on Saturday.
Farmers will now receive a total amount of Rs 10 thousand each after adding the amount of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Kalyan Yojana. He said that Jaisinagar will be developed on the lines of Rehli, Khurai Assembly cosntituencies.
