Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) admission tests for various courses rescheduled

Aligarh: The Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) admission tests for various courses, which were notified recently, have been rescheduled due to notification of Bihar state assembly elections and important festivals.

As per the revised schedule, the admission test for SSSC (Science/Diploma in Engineering) and SSSC (Humanities and Commerce) will take place on November 22, 2020. The SSSC (Science/Diploma in Engineering) entrance exam will be held from 10:00 am to 12 noon, while the test for SSSC (Humanities and Commerce) is scheduled later from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

AMU will conduct the joint entrance test for admissions in MBA, MBA (International Business) and MBA (Islamic Banking and Finance) on November 22 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm. The test for admissions in the Bachelor in Education (B. Ed) course will take place from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm on November 23.

Admission tests for BSc (Hons), BCom (Hons) and BA (Hons) will be held on November 29. The BSc (Hons) and BCom (Hons) tests will begin at 10:00 am while the BA (Hons) test is scheduled later in the day from 3:00 pm.

The university will conduct entrance exam for B Tech and B Arch courses on December 1. The B Arch (Paper II) will start in the morning from 9: 00 am whereas B Tech and B Arch (Paper I) tests will be held from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

The BA LLB entrance exam is scheduled on December 2 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

Mr Mujib Ullah Zuberi (Controller of Examinations) said that a separate window for change of test centre for entrance exam for various courses conducted by the university in Aligarh and outside will be opened on the controller?s website www.amucontrollerexams.com from October 1-7, 2020.
