Essay competition held by CALEM

Aligarh: Dr Mohd Rihan, Associate Professor, Department of Electrical Engineering, ZH College of Engineering and Technology, Aligarh Muslim University won the first prize in the essay writing competition organized by the Centre for Academic Leadership and Education Management (CALEM), UGC Human Resource Development Centre, AMU as part of the centenary celebration of the Aligarh Muslim University.

Dr Abdul Aziz Khan (Assistant Professor, Department of Tahaffuzi wa Samaji Tib, AK Tibiya College) got the second prize in the essay competition held on “How to Achieve Academic Excellence at the AMU”.

The third prize was shared by Dr Syed Ali Hur M Kamoonpuri (Assistant Professor, Department of Arabic) and Mr Jai Prakash (Assistant Professor, Department of Physics).

A total of 11 faculty members from different departments of studies participated in the event.

Professor Abdur Raheem Kidwai (Director, UGC Human Resource Development Centre) and Dr Faiza Abbasi (Assistant Director, UGC-HRDC) congratulated the winners and appreciated the efforts of all participants.
