Series of activities held on final day of B2V3 in Kathua
Kathua: The final phase of ambitious ‘Back to Village’ (B2V3) outreach programme concluded on a high note across 109 Panchayats halqas of 6 blocks in the district.
On the concluding day, the Visiting Officers inaugurated a string of works taken up under MGNREGA, 14 FC and B2V schemes, besides kick started several new works prioritised by concerned Panchayats.
Awareness regarding individual beneficiary based schemes and guidelines of government schemes to help increase rural incomes was also generated by the frontline workers of various departments and the visiting officers.
Greh parvesh of PMAY houses, distribution of Sports kits, Laadli Beti Passbooks, Soil health cards, golden cards, KCC, MGNREGA labour cards and Domicile Certificates remain key feature during the 3 day B2V programme.
The designated visiting officers visited panchayat Halqas and attended the Gram, Mahila, Youth and Baal sabhas where they were apprised by the locals of various issues being faced by them. They also held interaction with locals and carried out several social and developmental activities envisaged under the programme.
Poshan Mah activities, Awareness on COVID-19, sports activities, Swachhta drive, evening choupal and public service delivery camps were other key feature of this edition of Back to Village programme.
Principal Secretary, Animal and Sheep Husbandry Naveen Kumar Choudhary, Secretary JKPSC Rajesh Sharma, Transport Commissioner Pradeep Kumar, Director Floriculture Kishore Singh Chib, Chief Conservator of Forests T Rabi Kumar, Regional Director Survey and Land Records Mushtaq Ahmed were among the designated Visiting Officers for different Panchayats of Kathua district.
