Last round of B2V3 concludes in Poonch on high note
Poonch: The final day of the 3rd phase of the third edition of the ambitious “Back to Village programme” concluded successfully across 91 Panchayats in Poonch district.
During the programme, the issues pertaining to day to day needs including availability of food, drinking water and electricity and other services were raised in the gram sabhas.
The visiting officers chaired the special Mahila sabhas and Bal Sabhas whereat the issues related to women and children in the Panchayats were discussed in detail.
The visiting officers registered the grievances and assured the people that all their genuine demands shall be redressed with the intervention of the concerned departments.
The visiting officers inspected a number of ongoing developmental works being executed by different departments and inspected Government institutions like Anganwadi centres, schools, health institutions in the rural areas to take stock of the facilities being provided there.
Accompanied by PRI members, the visiting officers also inaugurated a number of works including those completed under languishing scheme,14 FC, MGNREGA,B2V2 etc. Grah Pravesh ceremonies and other activities related to the program were also held.
All 229 Panchayats of the district have been covered during the eight days of B2V3 program. The people of Poonch district have admired the efforts of the Government to reach out to them at their doorsteps and listen to their grievances.
