B2V3 concludes across 385 Panchayats of Kupwara

Kupwara: The phase 3rd of governments ambitious Back to Village programme concluded today in district Kupwara with people participating enthusiastically in Gram Sabhas and other events of the programme.
SDM Karnah, Dr. Bilal Mohidin Bhat visited Jabdi Panchayat Halqa situated at Zero Line to assess the problems of the people.
He reviewed the pace of progress on the PMGSY road, Ration store and also gave directions to the Rural Development department to provide Grist mill for the people living in the village in Panchayat halqa Jabdi that remains cut off from Tehsil Headquarter Karnah for 3 months during winter.
Other officers also visited many places and participated in Gram Sabhas and held inspection of local institutions, inaugurated sports activities, distributed kits and domicile certificates etc.
Similar functions were also held in Budnamal Payeen, Rawathpora, Tumina, Nagri and Warsun.
District Statistics & Evaluation Officer who is also district Nodal Officer for B2V3, Mohammad Ishaq Shah informed that Back to Village was concluded in all 385 panchayats of the district including border areas of Karnah, Keran, Machill and Jumgund.
