CJ Group launches new initiatives on the 2020 International Day of the Girl to advance CJ-UNESCO partnership on girls’ education
Since 2014, CJ Group has been a strong partner for UNESCO, using its business resources and media platforms to raise awareness and mobilise resources for the shared priority of girls’ education.
This year, on the 2020 International Day of the Girl Child, CJ Group is expanding its partnership with UNESCO and raising resources to support UNESCO’s work on girls’ education.
CJ OliveYoung a health and beauty affiliate, will include quizzes and audience engagement in their “All Live” event, and secure donations. Since 2014, CJ Olive Young has been holding donation campaigns for UNESCO’s work on girls’ education. Their viral “Beautiful Mind, Beautiful Change” campaign not only mobilised funds for UNESCO but also engaged more than 4 million donors and received 6 million views in only two months.
CJ CheilJedang is also releasing a special edition of InnerB, an inner beauty brand, with the campaign message of ‘Bright Girls, Bright Future’. Available online from 8 to 22 October, a proportion of sales of this special edition will be donated to CJ-UNESCO’s girls’ education campaign.
Together, UNESCO and CJ Group are securing a brighter future for girls through education.
